Liverpool and AC Milan have been working on the transfer of Mario Balotelli to the Reds and while things are being hammered out, it looks as if he will not be ready for the Monday match against Manchester City on the EPL schedule, which would have put Balotelli against his old team for his first match following his move.
According to Liverpool Echo, Balotelli and the club have worked out details on his contract regarding behavioral clauses in the deal and now things are moving towards a medical examination to get the deal completed. The move of Balotelli was rumored for a while, but manager Brendan Rodgers claimed it was false and now clearly it has happened and he is on his way to Liverpool now.
Balotelli reportedly will make £110,000 per week with the team and they have reasonable concerns about his behavior, as he has been a bit wild in the past. Either way, Balotelli can help replace Luis Suarez after the season he had for the Reds last season and that will be a major move for the team. The transfer is for $26 million came down last week and now he is en route to Liverpool.
