The NFL preseason 2014 schedule for Week 3 picks up on Saturday with the Buccaneers and Bills and the TV channel coverage is from the NFL Network and start time is at 4:30 pm ET ahead of the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins, while some of the other game action on the live schedule includes the Saints and Colts, Wahsington Redskins taking on the Baltimore Ravens, while the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos will cap off the night.
The Bucs and Bills open things up before the Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins and that could see Tony Romo play multiple series before Brandon weeden comes in. The Titans and the Falcons are also playing in 7 pm ET hour and that will be from the Georgia Dome, while the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens open the 7:30 pm ET start with a Bay rivalry game with RG3 and Joe Flacco.
The New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts are playing at 8 pm ET and that game will be on TV from CBS and leads into the Rams and Cleveland Browns game. The matchup is the home debut of Johnny Manziel and comes as the Browns have picked Brian Hoyer as the starter for the team for Week 1. The Vikings and the Kansas City Chiefs play next on the schedule, while the Texans and the Broncos end the schedule on Saturday.
The Sunday matchups have the San Diego Chargers and San Francisco 49ers, while the Bengals and Cardinals end the week. The first game is on FOX from TV and the channel coverage for the Cards is on NBC.
The Week 3 schedule started off with the Philadelphia Eagles beating the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night and things then picked up on Friday with the New England Patriots beating the Carolina Panthers, which was a rematch of one of the best games of the season last year. The Panthers won that game at home on a controversial late call that didn't go for the Patriots and now NE got some revenge and both of these teams should be in the playoffs this year.
The New York Giants and NY Jets played a shootout on Friday at MetLife Stadium with the G-Men coming out on top in the Snoopy Bowl, while the Detroit Lions squeaked by the Jacksonville Jaguars in a close matchup and now Chad Henne will be starting over Blake Bortles this season. The Green Bay Packers won against the Oakland Raiders, while the Seattle Seahawks dominated at home against the Chicago Bears.
