The Cowboys come into the game looking to bounce back after a loss, while the Dolphins won over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will play against the Rams next. The Dolphins are looking to bounce back after a very up and down season and they had two games on the road and now they will be at home against Dallas and the Rams next and that leads into the first game of the season, which is a big matchup with the New England Patriots at home.
The Cowboys had Brandon Weeden lead the team in passing yards last game and now they play against the Dolphins after losses to the Chargers and the Ravens. The team has a matchup in Miami and then a home game against the Denver Broncos and that will be an anticipated matchup before the team opens the season. The start of the schedule has the San Francisco 49ers at home and that will be the national game on Sunday for opening weekend and then the team has two road games.
The Cowboys play three road games in five weeks at one point over the first half and they also have a number of division games leading up to the bye week. The team opens with the Niners and then plays on the road against the Titans and the Rams before matching up at home with the New Orleans Saints. The Cowboys then have the Houston Texans at home in the battle of Texas and that comes before a massive matchup with the Seattle Seahawks on the road.
The team has the Giants and the Redskins heading into the bye week before playing the Cardinals and Jaguars and after having a week off, the team plays on the road against the Giants. The Eagles are next up before a road game against the Bears and then the Cowboys will play another division game in Philly. The final two games are the Colts and the Washington Redskins, while the Miami Dolphins have the Bills, Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders before their bye week.
The Cowboys have a tough schedule and they are looking to bounce back from last season after missing the playoffs again. The team lost in Week 17 to miss the playoffs and the Dolphins faltered as they had a chance to make it as well. The Dolphins also play against the Broncos and the San Diego Chargers as well as tough matchups with the Bears and Packers in the NFC North.
