The UEFA Champions League schedule is back live on Wednesday for the second leg playoff round and teams are looking to advance as Bayer Leverkusen takes on FC Copenhagen, while Athletic Bilbao faces off with Napoli and those games start up at 2:45 pm ET with coverage from ESPN3, WatchESPN and Fox Soccer as the teams try to advance into the group stages of the Champs League this year.
Arsenal is also in action against Besiktas and that matchup will have the Gunners trying to get through after playing to a scoreless draw in the first game. The team now has this at the Emirates Stadium and that should give them an advantage in this match. The Napoli and Athletic Bilbao matchup has the two teams at 1-1 on aggregate and that makes for an exciting matchup as well.
Bayer and Copenhagen are coming in with the score 3-2 and the Bundesliga side has the advantage now and they will be looking to lock things up heading into the group stage. There will also be two other games on the schedule for the Champions League. Arsenal is looking to get into the group stage and that would put them together with three other Premier League teams, as Manchester City is in after winning the EPL title, while Liverpool and Chelsea also qualified after making it into the top four of the EPL table.
Last season Real Madrid ended up winning the tournament and that was over rival Atletico Madrid and that was an amazing matchup in Lisbon with two teams from the same city and same League in La Liga. Real Madrid won the title in the Champions League after a great run and now they could be even better after the moves they made in the offseason. The team added James Rodriguez this summer along with Toni Kroos and those moves could be massive after the team got Gareth Bale last summer.
