Buffalo Bills Rumors: Sammy Watkins, Mike Williams, Robert Woods, Fred Jackson Fantasy Football Picks For 2014

The Buffalo Bills have some solid fantasy football draft options this season with names like Sammy Watkins, Mike Williams, Robert Woods, Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller as well as Marquise Goodwin as strong offensive options and if EJ Manuel can get going once the season starts after preseason struggles, some of those players could be huge sleepers, especially Watkins and Williams.

Watkins is the top name to keep an eye on and he has some very high expectations after the Bills traded up to get him in the draft. The team is hoping that he can give EJ Manuel a solid number one option and if the team continues to rush the ball like they do, it should be much easier for Watkins and Manuel to get connected in the offense. The team was ranked in the top 10 last season in rushing with CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson and now they are looking to stay in that mix again.

Watkins has dealt with a couple injuries this preseason, but NFL.com reports that his latest rib issue is not serious. The report says that Watkins will be ready to play Week 1 and that means fantasy owners should be ready to start him. Watkins has the chance to be one of the most dynamic players in the league with his speed coming out of Clemson and he joins a solid group of players at his position in Buffalo, including Robert Woods and Mike Williams.

Watkins had a fantastic career at Clemson and now he is looking to bring that into the NFL and it comes after he had a career year last season with the team. As a junior Watkins had 101 catches for 1464 yards and 12 touchdowns and he averaged over 14 yards per catch. Watkins averaged that much in two of his three seasons in college and the only season he didn't do it was his second year and that was because of an injury. As a freshman he had 82 catches for 1219 yards and 12 scores and while that dipped in 2012 with 57 catches and 708 yards, it was mostly due to injuries.

Mike Williams had a bad end to his time in Tampa Bay, but the skills are there to be a top wideout. The team traded for him this offseason after trading Stevie Johnson and now he has the chance to bounce back. Williams never missed a game until last season and he was very consistent over those three years, going for 65, 65 and 63 receptions in his first three seasons. Williams nearly had 1,000 yards in 2010 and 2012 and now he is looking to make an impact with his old college coach in Buffalo.

Robert Woods is a nice sleeper option and he could be a strong pick in deeper leagues, as he showed last season that he can make big plays. Woods had 40 catches for 587 yards and averaged over 14 yards per reception and that makes him a solid target for Manuel to work with. Fred Jackson and Spiller will be splitting time, but both players have the chance to put up numbers and anyone that gets Spiller should also grab Jackson.
