The Seattle Sounders and Colorado Rapids are playing live on the MLS schedule on Saturday and the matchup starts at 4 pm ET from CenturyLink Field as the west teams face off and it comes after the team won against their Pacific Northwest rivals last week and now the team is looking to stay in top position in the western conference as the playoffs get closer.
This is a big match for the Sounders and the Rapids and each side is looking for a win as the playoffs start coming up. The Rapids kept their losing streak going and now it's five games and they lost to the LA Galaxy at home while Seattle comes in after winning over the Portland Timbers and that was on the road and they are looking to stay hot.
The Seattle Sounders are back on top in the western conference and they have been playing very well this season and now they are getting a challenge up top from a number of teams. The Sounders are now back in first with 45 points from 24 games, while the LA Galaxy are two points back of first place, while FC Dallas is in third and Real Salt Lake is in fourth. Those teams are secure in those spots, as the Vancouver Whitecaps are in fifth with 33 points, two ahead of the Portland Timbers.
