The Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals are playing live on the MLB schedule on Wednesday afternoon and the game is live on the radio and online starting at 1:45 pm ET and the NL Central matchup is big heading towards the playoffs, as both teams are battling and the Bucs need this in the wild card race as Shelby Miller and Edinson Volquez in the pitching duel.

The Pirates are four games behind the Cardinals and they are chasing in the wild card as well and they could use a win here as they try and get things going into September. This is the final time the teams meet this season and this series is huge as the playoffs get closer.
The Cardinals come into the game after another win and they got Adam wainwright the victory and now they are about to face the Brewers. The series against the Brewers is huge and that could push the division race even farther after jumping ahead of Milwaukee and they are catching fire at the right time.
