The team has been getting contributions from everyone and after coming into the second half against Turkey with a deficit, the team was able to rally and they eventually pulled away with a win. The US is more skilled than every other team and they can run with anyone, as they have the deepest roster of talent in this tournament by far. Irving has been the MVP of this tournament for the team, as he has stepped up for Derrick Rose, who has struggled and is getting eased back in. James Harden has been solid as well and he had 14 points in the game against Turkey.
The US remains undefeated in their group and they likely will stay that way, as they have already played DR in a warm up and that was not even close. The team has a string roster and they are motivated to win. The US lost Paul George to a scary injury and Kevin Durant to being tired, but the team is deep and hungry and even without big names like Kevin Love and LeBron James, the USA team has the chance to be something special here in Spain.
