Rueben Randle Fantasy: Victor Cruz Confident NY Giants Replace Odell Beckham Jr After Injury, Rashad Jennings, Andre Williams Top Week 1 Picks for Eli Manning

The New York Giants went undefeated in the preseason and yet are still being forced to answer questions about their inconsistent offense. The unit certainly showed their share of struggles through four games despite getting the wins and some fans are nervous that history could repeat itself as far as a lengthy losing streak. With Odell Beckham Jr possibly out up to three games, Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle must step up after they struggled with Eli Manning at the start of the season.

According to Cruz, the struggles of the preseason will be a long afterthought after the first few games of the regular season. He recognized there were timing issues with Manning, but remains confident that the Giants have the high-powered offense they lacked last year.

"I would say just relax,'' Cruz said, via The New York Post. "Week 1 is here. Eli [Manning] gets to play four quarters and we get to get into a grove and a flow of the game, and that should be positive for us. I think this season is going to be a good one for us.''

One of the biggest question marks for the Giants is whether or not Randle will be able to step up. The wide receiver has shown signs of potential, but also simply mistakes. He and Manning never appeared on the same page throughout the entire preseason. With Beckham out for the time being, the Giants need Randle at his best and Cruz believes the wide receiver will be just fine.

"I haven't yet (talked to Randle), because I don't think they're necessarily struggling," Cruz said, via the New York Daily News. "There are a couple of instances where we just haven't gotten the timing down with him (Manning) and Rueb. But there are ways we can do things in practice to figure that out."

Randle is a big fantasy grabber this season. The Giants receiving corps leaves some to be desired at Cruz and Randle are the marquee names. They will pair with running back Rashad Jennings who is expecting to take his strong numbers from Oakland to the Giants. He will be playing his first Monday Night Football game when New York faces off against the Detroit Lions and he admits his emotions will be running high.

"I don't think I played one," Jennings said. "So it's fun under the lights. But after the national anthem, maybe shed a couple of tears and as soon as the first snap, it's back to football."
