Pittsburgh and Boston College are playing live on the ACC college football schedule on Friday night and the game is live on ESPN and streaming from the WatchESPN website at 7:30 pm ET with the Panthers and Eagles from Alumni Stadium as the Atlantic Coast Conference rivals matchup early in the 2014 season schedule.
The Panthers come into the game after winning huge over the Delaware Blue Hens and they had a fantastic game on offense, scoring over 60 points in the game. The team is the best in the ACC after one game in scoring and they put up over 400 passing yards in the game and now they have an ACC matchup with a rival team. The Panthers then have another easy game against Florida International and that will be on Fox Sports 1 and that is a road matchup.
The team has a fairly easy schedule over the first half of the season and then things start to pick up in October and that includes big ACC matchups on the road with North Carolina and Virginia as well. The team has Iowa at home and then plays against Akron in another home game before playing their next ACC game and that is on the road against the Cavaliers. The team then has three straight home games in the conference before the matchup with the Tar Heels.
The matchup on the schedule with UNC is the only ranked team over the first couple months currently and Pitt has the chance to keep things going. The team will play against Virginia Tech after the game against the Cavaliers and they are also home for that game and then against Georgia Tech and Duke, who was very good last season and made it to the conference championship against Florida State.
The back stretch of the schedule has some tough games and that includes the away matchup at Chapel Hill against North Carolina. The team then has Syracuse at home for a rivalry game and they finish the season on the road against the U in Miami against the Hurricanes.
