England is in Group E and they should be one of the favorites coming out of there and with the EPL on break this week, the team has a full lineup with Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck among the starters.

England is coming into this after a disappointing run at the World Cup, which was marked by a loss to Italy and other tough games and they did not advance from the main group stage. The United States made it farther and that was embarrassing and now the team is moving into a new era with some new names and faces with Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard done with the team now.
Roy Hodgson has a solid lineup with Joe Hart, Stones, Phil Jones, Gary Cahill, Leighton Baines, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere, Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling, Daniel Sturridge and Wayne Rooney and that gives the team a chance to get in shape ahead of their next game and that will be on Monday for the first qualifier matchup that counts. Danny Welbeck likely will be out of things after he moved from Manchester United to Arsenal and that deal was a big one for the Gunners, but it means he will not likely play for this game, but he could feature later when the team suits up for other games.
This will be the first true test for the team since the World Cup and the team will be glad to get that behind them. The team has Switzerland as their next opponents after this matchup and they will need to get fit heading into that game. Hodgson is taking his team through the third round of qualifying here under him in this tournament and while the World Cup was a tough pill to swallow, the team thinks it has a strong chance to make an impact here.
Sadly for Hodgson and England, the game will be seen by a record low amount of people at Wembley and part of that is due to the date and also because of the way the team played at the World Cup. Hodgson said he understands that fans will want to give the team a bit of a hard time to start things, but they will be back when things really count. This is the first matchup against England in London for Norway in two decades and the last time around it was a tough matchup.
Rooney scored his first goal in the World cup finally at the tournament in Brazil but no one was happy with the way the team played. England now has a chance to get things back on track and it starts with the Euro 2016 tournament before Russia 2018 for the World Cup.
