The MLB Standings has the division races and wild card leaders all very tight as the playoffs get closer and teams like the Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles, LA Dodgers, Oakland Athletics, Seattle Mariners, Milwaukee Brewers, Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Royals and Washington Nationals all are in contention down the stretch with just about 23 games left in the season.
The NL East division has the Washington Nationals leading by a wide margin and they should lock that thing up, while the St. Louis Cardinals are now pushing the Pirates and Brewers back late in the season in the NL Central. The Dodgers are leading the San Francisco Giants by three games and they are battling with the Braves and the Pirates as well as the Brewers for the wild card.
The AL East has the Baltimore Orioles leading the Yankees and Blue Jays by a big gap, while the Kansas City Royals and Detroit Tigers are battling for the Al Central. The AL West has the Angels leading the Oakland Athletics during their free fall and the Mariners are in the mix for the wild card.
The American League wild card has the Oakland A's and the Seattle Mariners in with the Detroit Tigers, while the Cleveland Indians and Yankees are next in the standings. The National League wild card has the Giants and Pirates leading, while the Braves and Brewers are next.
