The Virginia Tech Hokies and East Carolina Pirates are playing on the ESPN college football schedule on Saturday at 12 pm ET noon from Lane Stadium and the team comes in after a massive win over Ohio State and now VT will try and keep things going and they are now undefeated through two games and ranked in the top 25 heading into the weekend and the matchups will be live streaming from WatchESPN.
The Hokies just pulled off a major upset and they could be the ones on alert on Saturday, as East Carolina has shown that it doesn't get flustered in big games. Frank Beamer is the longest tenured coach in college football and he has his team on the right track and now he could make a run to factor into things this year in the ACC and the college football playoff.
The team is now 2-0 after winning over Ohio State and that came after an easy win over William & Mary and now they have three straight home games, including one against Georgia Tech next week to start the conference schedule. The team has a tough game coming up in Chapel Hill against North Carolina after playing Western Michigan and then they will face off against Pittsburgh on the road in another big conference matchup.
