The New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings are playing live on the Week 2 NFL schedule on Sunday and the game comes as Adrian Peterson was deactivated and now NE will try and avoid going 0-2 and the matchup is live on TV from CBS at TCF Bank Stadium as the Vikes wait for their new stadium to be built and this matchup starts at 1 pm ET.
The Patriots come into the game after losing to the Dolphins and they will open at home next week against the Oakland Raiders. The Dolphins made NE look bad on D at times, but they should rebound and they also received a break with the Adrian Peterson situation. Having him out makes it easier to win and they have three of four on the road to start the season with the Raiders next week and then the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night football.
Peterson was deactivated after his issues in Texas and now Minnesota will try and keep things going after they won the first game of their season against the Rams. The Patriots and Tom Brady did not look like themselves and they should have Shane Vereen ready to go and he will be big for the team. Brady will be looking to stay clean and if he is now knocked around like last week, he should have a much better game.
