Manchester United put together a strong performance against the Queens Park Rangers on Sunday for their first English Premier League victory of the season and now the team has the chance to get rolling after a 4-0 victory against QPR at Old Trafford that saw the Red Devils dominate in the first half for new manager Louis Van Gaal.
Van Gaal came into his job after bringing the Netherlands into the final four of the World Cup and after a couple tough performances, the team now has its first victory of the season. Angel Di Maria had a strong game after recently signing with the team and Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata also scored for Man Utd and the team now has some momentum heading into their next match.
The team is still down a bit on the Premier League table, but it's early in the season and there is time to get things right as the weather starts getting cooler. Di Maria scored his first goal since coming over on the $99 million deal from Real Madrid and now he has the chance to be a major difference maker for the team going forward.
Radamel Falcao played his first minutes for Manchester United as well and the win here is a step in the right direction for Van Gaal. The team now is in the top half of the Premier League table standings and they are right there past Everton at ninth place on goal differential. The team now has one win on the season and will be looking for another, while QPR was pushed down a bit more and they have just one win on the season and they are in 16th.
