The Dodgers are still alive for the best record in the NL with the Washington Nationals and they are looking to keep pushing the Giants back in the division race in the west. The team has been one of the best in the league and they are getting Kemp hot at the same time, as he is hitting over .400 with three home runs in his last 13 games against Colorado and he also has good numbers against De La Rosa.
The Dodgers come into the game after a loss to the Rockies and they are getting ready for a start against the Chicago Cubs in the next series with Zack Greinke on the mound. The team has been great hitting the ball and they are ranked in the top 10 in runs, home runs, batting average and on base percentage and now they could be looking to get hot at the right time.
The Cubs have been playing hard despite the fact that they are way out of it and the Dodgers will not want to falter away at Wrigley Field. Clayton Kershaw is leading the pitching staff and overall La has been fantastic throwing the ball and that could be what separates the team in the playoffs. The Nationals have already clinched their division and the Dodgers could be in position to clinch a playoff spot soon.
