EPL Table Standings: Chelsea First Over Aston Villa With Manchester City, Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool Chasing Premier League Lead

The EPL Table Standings has Chelsea sitting first in the English Premier League and behind them are Aston Villa, Swansea City and Southampton, while Manchester City and Tottenham are next in the standings. Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton are looking to move up and they are chasing the Blues in the standings as the season moves along.

Chelsea is in first place and they have not yet conceded a point in the league this season, winning all four of their games. The team has 12 points and they have the best goal differential while scoring 15 and allowing just six against. Aston Villa, Swansea city and Southampton are in the top four positions and behind that is Manchester City followed by Tottenham and Arsenal.

Swansea City is off to a nice start this season and Aston Villa is just ahead of them with 10 points. Southampton, Man City and Tottenham all have seven points, while Arsenal and Liverpool are next in the standings with six points apiece. Manchester United got their first win of the season last weekend against QPR and now they are looking to keep things going and they are on the standings ahead of Hull City and Everton, who also have five points.

Leicester City is in 12th place and they are ahead of West Ham United in the standings. The team is ahead of Stoke City, Sunderland and QPR, while Crystal Palace is just out of the relegation zone. It's a long season, but right now Burnley, West Brom and Newcastle United are in the final three spots and they need to shape up to get out the bottom of the EPL.

The weekend has a number of great games, including action with Liverpool and West Ham, Aston Villa and Arsenal as well as Manchester United taking on Leicester City. Chelsea and Man City will be playing at Etihad Stadium and that's the game of the week, while Tottenham plays against West Brom at White Hart Lane.
