Manchester City and Chelsea are playing live on the English Premier League schedule on Sunday and the match starts at 11 am ET on the NBC Sports Network and NBCSN Live Extra online as the Blues try and stay on top of the EPL standings and the game is from the Etihad Stadium and comes after the teams opened up the Champions League group schedule last week.
Frank Lampard will make his debut with Manchester City on loan after signing in New York and Diego Costa looks like he will be playing while dealing with a hamstring injury. Chelsea remains in first place on the Premier League table and they are looking to stay there and stay clean this season. Chelsea challenged Man City last year for the title but faltered at the end of the season and now they have the chance to match up with them again.
The teams will play again later in the season at Stamford Bridge and that will be a big matchup and now Chelsea is looking to extend their league best goal differential and stay undefeated through five games. Both of these teams opened up their Champions League group schedule and Chelsea comes in after a draw with Schalke. Costa is playing despite dealing with an injury and he could end up aggravating it, but this is a big game and that is why Jose Mourinho is playing him.
Manchester United followed up their first win of the season with a dud on the road and they fell to Leicester City and now they are heading into a tough stretch that includes Man City soon. Chelsea has Man City and then they play Aston Villa and they also have a matchup with Arsenal in the middle of their next Champions League matches and now they play against Man City on NBC on Sunday.
