The Barclays English Premier League has Chelsea on top of the EPL table standings heading into next week and they are on top above Southampton, Manchester City, Arsenal, Swansea City and Aston Villa, while Man United and Tottenham are trying to stay in the thick of things as the schedule picks up next weekend.
Chelsea comes out of the weekend with 16 points and they have been the highest scoring team in the EPL this season with 19 goals and they also have the best differential. The Blues are ahead of Southampton and Man City, who have 13 points and 11 points in the second and third positions. Arsenal is in fourth place on the table and the Gunners are tied on points with Swansea City and Aston Villa in the top six.
Manchester United is looking to keep moving up on the table and after a tough start they are now in seventh place and they are ahead of Tottenham. The team has two wins this season and they are tied with a large group at eight points back and that includes West Brom and Crystal Palace. Liverpool and Everton are down on the standings for now and while they have time to move up, they need to start getting things together quickly.
