The NLDS Playoff Standings have the San Francisco Giants leading the Washington Nationals 2-0, while the LA Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals are tied 1-1 in the National League Division Series and the Game 3 matchups in both of those sets are on Monday and are crucial after the ALDS series ended with the Orioles and Royals winning.

The Giants won the first game of the NLDS against the Nationals after going up 3-0 and allowing a couple runs to get the game close and now they are just one win away from advancing. The team has won 10 straight playoff games and the last one was as exciting as any of them, as the 2-1 contest went 18 innings and did not see the Giants score until the top of the ninth. The Giants won after a Brandon Belt home run and now they will try and close things out on Monday at home in San Francisco with Madison Bumgarner on the mound.

The Dodgers and Cardinals are playing a tight series and now things are 1-1 after LA won following a late home run in Game 2. The Cardinals made a big comeback against Clayton Kershaw and they won Game 1 and now the series is tied at 1-1 after the Dodgers won Game 2. The teams play on Monday and the next matchup will be on Tuesday and if necessary the final game will be on Thursday.

The series between the Giants and the Nationals has been a tight one and the experience of the Giants has won out so far. The Nats took out Jordan Zimmermann after he nearly made it through the entire Game 2 matchup, but the Giants were able to tie it and then the team won the game in 18 innings, the longest game ever in the playoffs. Now the series shifts to San Fran and the Giants will not let up, as they lost the first two games at home to the Reds before coming back from 2-0 down to start the winning streak they are on.

The Cardinals and the Dodgers series is tight and the next game is huge and this has Hyun-Jin Ryu against John Lackey for Monday. The game after that has Shelby Miller against Dan Haren and that will set up another strong matchup after that. The last game had Zack Greinke on the mound and he was fantastic and now the Cards head home and will play against the Dodgers in St. Louis and that game will be on Tuesday from Fox Sports 1 for Game 4.

The ALCS is now set and has the Orioles against the Kansas City Royals. The teams swept out the Detroit Tigers and the LA Angels and the American League Championship Series now will start on Friday.
