The fantasy football Week 6 schedule is here and some sleepers to start this week include Ronnie Hillman, Storm Johnson, Branden Oliver, Andre Williams, Eric Ebron, Odell Beckham, Kendall Wright, Mohamed Sanu, Jeremy Hill, Eric Ebron and Golden Tate, as some of those players are coming off great games or their teams are dealing with injury issues that will push them up.
The Chargers and Giants both are ailing at the RB position and now the backups are getting the chance to start. Oliver had his best game since coming to the team and he now will get extra carries with Donald Brown dealing with a head injury. Danny Woodhead is already out for the season and Ryan Mathews is banged up with a knee injury. The Chargers like to run the ball and they also use the RBs out of the backfield quite a bit and that could boost Oliver going forward.
The Giants have Williams coming in to start for Rashad Jennings while he is out and the team also has Odell Beckham coming back after an injury that forced him to miss the first four games. Williams has played well when he has been on the field and he showed off his skills coming in for Jennings. Beckham caught a touchdown in his first game back and while he may not put up WR1-like numbers, he has the chance to be a sleeper pickup. Both Williams and Beckham are rookies and they are now in very important positions in the Giants offense.
Eric Ebron has the chance to step up with Calvin Johnson dealing with an ankle injury, while Storm Johnson looks like he will be getting starter carries in Jacksonville. The Jaguars often don't put up a lot of points, but the team likes Johnson and Gus Bradley said he should be getting more touches in the offense. Ronnie Hillman is a top pickup as well with Montee Ball dealing with a groin injury, as that could keep him out several weeks. CJ Anderson is also an option from the Broncos in deeper leagues.
Storm Johnson is a solid sleeper option for this week, as Toby Gerhart has not gotten things done and Gus Bradley likes how he has been working in practice. While Johnson has only 27 yards this season, he is in line to get more and he could be a solid option for teams in need of an emergency back. Sanu is a strong option as well with Green out, as he has had at least five catches in the past two games and he could end up with more targets with Green on the sidelines. Jeremy Hill also could get a boost with Green out, as the team could rush the ball a bit more with him and Gio Bernard.
Kendall Wright had two TD catches last week and he could be a solid WR2 or WR3 option in some leagues. Justin Hunter also had a score and he could also be available. Lamar Miller will continue getting starter carries like Andre Williams with Rashad Jennings and Knowshon Moreno out and both of those players are solid start options. The Eagles are tough, but the late game for Williams could be an advantage and he is a smart starter pick.
