The LSU Tigers and Florida Gators are playing on the SEC college football schedule on Saturday night and the game is live on the SEC Network from ESPN on TV and on the WatchESPN website online at 7:30 pm ET from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and this is huge for UF and Louisiana State as the conference slate heats up.
LSU comes into the game after losing badly to Auburn last weekend and now they are already 0-2 in the SEC and they likely are out of the mix for the college football playoff. Florida comes in at 3-1 on the season and they could be catching LSU at the right time after they have lost two of the past three games. The Tigers started the season 3-0 after winning a close game over Wisconsin and then shutting out two teams, but they lost to Miss State and now the Bulldogs have ended up as one of the best teams in the nation.
The Tigers have a very tough back stretch of the season, as they play against Ole Miss and Alabama in back to back games and then the team plays against Arkansas and Texas A&M to finish out the season. The Gators come in after a very close game with Tennessee and now they are looking to get another SEC win after losing to Alabama big before playing the Volunteers. Florida has been playing very well on defense and this matchup with the Tigers could be another down in the trenches type matchup.
