The Patriots won over the Jets on Thursday and now fantasy football owners should look at top pickups from the game in Brandon Bolden, Shane Vereen, Brandon LaFell, Tim Wright, Chris Ivory and Brandon Bolden, as those names have the chance to keep things going in Week 8 and moving forward and now Tom Brady has led the Patriots to three straight wins since losing to the Chiefs.
The Patriots started off the game quick and Vereen showed why he is a strong option with Stevan Ridley lost for the season. Vereen has an early touchdown and added another in the game and had a big performance after the Pats lost Ridley for the season. Vereen is a great receiver out of the backfield and he showed that against the Jets. Bolden did not do much, but he has the chance to be a solid backup and he should be the handcuff for Vereen now with Ridley out.
Jonas Gray had some carries in the game and he had more than Bolden and it will be interesting to see how the Patriots spread things around the rest of the season. Losing Ridley will be tough, but Bill Belichick has shown that his team can overcome injuries in the past.
