The Houston Texans have a number of fantasy football options for owners to start in Week 7 of the season on Monday night, as Arian Foster and Andre Johnson are active, while DeAndre Hopkins is a very solid starter with Ryan Fitzpatrick as the team takes on the Steelers on MNF and it comes after Foster and Johnson were listed on the injury report coming into the weekend.
Arian Foster was listed as probable on the injury report, but he is ready to play and should have no complications for the matchup. Foster has been excellent this season and while he has missed one game, he has been healthy apart from some small injuries and while he is an injury prone player, he comes in with a very good game behind him. Foster rushed for over 100 yards last week against the Colts and now he will try and do the same against the Steelers.
Both Johnson and Foster were on the injury report heading into the game, but they are expected to play and could be strong start options for the Texans. Johnson is going to be in the lineup and is a prime start option along with Hopkins at WR. Johnson was dealing with an ankle injury, but he was full go in practice and now has the chance to have a very good game against the Steelers. Johnson has put up solid numbers this season, going for 34 catches along with 419 yards and while he has scored just one TD this season, it came last week against the Colts in his best game of the season.
Johnson had seven catches for 99 yards in that game and those were his best numbers in either category in 2014. Hopkins was also listed as probable and he will be a full go for the game on Monday as well. Hopkins has 25 catches for 366 yards this season and he also has three touchdowns and he could be a smart starter for Monday night as a flex or a WR2.
Foster has over 500 yards rushing already this season with four 100 yard game and he also has five touchdowns to go along with 16 receptions. Foster has been one of the most consistent backs in the league this season and it comes after he missed half the season last year with injuries. Foster has four 100 yard games over his last five and he has over 100 yards in each of the last two games. Last week Foster had 109 yards and two touchdowns and the week before that he added 157 yards and two scores. Foster has four TDs in the past two games and he could be a hot start against the Steelers.
The Houston Texans are coming into Monday night against the Steelers looking to bounce back and they have Arian Foster and Andre Johnson as fantasy football start options against Pittsburgh, with Foster being one of the best plays for Week 7 after the way he performed last week with over 100 yards against the Colts.
