New York Knicks Summer League 2012 TV Schedule: Watch NY Take on the Denver Nuggets Today at 4 P.M.

Jul 17, 2012 03:28 PM EDT

The New York Knicks are still searching for their first win in the 2012 Summer League.

They lost two consecutive games by double-digit margins. They played the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday and lost 93-77. They faced the Phoenix Suns on Sunday and lost 99-74.

Today, they will take on the Denver Nuggets.

Not a lot of attention has been paid to the Knicks rookies trying out for a spot on the Knicks' bench.

Let's face it that is what these players are competing for.

The Knicks have Carmelo Anthony, Raymond Felton, Amar'e Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler and a Jason Kidd, who can start while Iman Shumpert recovers.

On the bench, even the spots are thin.

The Knicks now have Marcus Camby and Kurt Thomas, who played in New York over a decade ago. They also resigned J.R. Smith and Steve Novak.

All the rookies can do is compete for a spot on the bench and try to get some garbage minutes in.

Chris Copeland is not a rookie, but is looking to gain a spot on the roster. He was recently signed to a deal.

Jeremy Lin has stolen some of the spotlight from these players, but then again, Lin can steal headlines away from everybody except maybe Kobe, LeBron and Dwight Howard.

Catch the action at 4 p.m. on MSG.
