The fantasy football schedule is here for Week 8 and some sleeper picks and free agent options include Kenny Stills, Charles Clay, Allen Robinson, Khiry Robinson, Darren Sproles, Dwayne Bowe, Odell Beckham Jr, Bryce Brown, Anthony Dixon, Jerick McKinnon, Jonathan Stewart and Ronnie Hillman, as all of those players have the chance to step up this weekend and moving forward for owners.
The Saints have Pierre Thomas out for at least two weeks and that makes Robinson, Mark Ingram and Travaris Cadet strong pickups for owners. Ingram and Robinson are the best runners of the bunch, but Cadet could be a huge option for PPR owners moving forward, as he is a Darren Sproles type for Drew Brees. Kenny Stills and Allen Robinson are some WR options to look at, while Sproles is coming back from an injury for the Eagles and could be a great play after the bye week.
Charles Clay has stepped up for the Miami Dolphins and he is a favorite target for Ryan Tannehill and Miami is coming off of a big win against Chicago. Bowe is another option to look at, as many fantasy owners have dropped him in frustration and he could have a breakout game this week. The loss of CJ Spiller makes Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown worth looking at, as Fred Jackson is also injured and will miss time for Buffalo. Jerick McKinnon has been performing well in place of Adrian Peterson and he has emerged as the number one over Matt Asiata.
Kenny Stills is a very solid option to take a look at, as the Saints need playmakers and he looks like he is stepping up at the right time. Stills is coming in after his best game of the season and he had over 100 yards and his first TD of the year. Stills had five catches on five targets for 103 yards and a score and he now has 15 catches for 244 yards in five games this season. Stills is a good option in deeper leagues.
For anyone dealing with TE injuries, Charles Clay is a good option, as he is coming in after a four catch game for 58 yards and a TD against the Bears and he has another solid matchup this week. Clay has 21 catches for 204 yards this season and he is coming off of a career year with 69 catches for 759 yards last year. Clay has been a security blanket for Ryan Tannehill and he is a redzone option as well.
Bowe and the Chiefs are a hard team to deal with, as they do not pass all that much and when they do it's not too deep and right now he could be ready to break out. Bowe had his best game of the season with five catches for 84 yards and while he has just 19 receptions on the season, he could be ready to get his first TD coming up. Robinson is a strong start option with Pierre Thomas out and he comes in leading the team with 330 rushing yards and he has been a solid goal line back as well for the Saints.
