New York Knicks Summer League 2012 Schedule: Day Off for NY, Play Raptors on Thursday

Jul 18, 2012 10:14 AM EDT

The New York Knicks continue to look for the right pieces to fit into their 2013 regular season rosters.

So far, their league participants have yet to pull out a win, but the summer league is not about winning or losing.

They lost yesterday in a close one 85-81 to the Denver Nuggets, but they continue to receive productions from players they hope can make a difference in their roster.

So far, Chris Copeland has been a consistent scorer. He plays the forward position and in three games, has averaged 13.3 points with just over four rebounds a game.

Copeland had 15 points yesterday against the Nuggets.

Wesley Witherspoon, forward, has also been consistent in the three games he has participated in, scoring in double-digits in all three games.

Yesterday, he scored 12 points on 4-7 from the floor and 2-2 from beyond the arc.

James White is a player that some expect to make the roster at the beginning of the season.

He considers himself a savvy veteran that can produce off the bench and provide a spark on defense. He scored 11 points against the Nuggets and grabbed three boards.

The Knicks will enjoy a day off in the summer league today, but will face the Toronto Raptors on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.

There are just two more summer league games remaining.
