The Kansas City Royals are two wins away from being crowned champions in the World Series. The issue is that the San Francisco Giants are just one win away after pitcher James Shields got the loss in the last game and Madison Bumgarner added to his already impressive postseason resume. Trailing 3-2, the Royals are hoping some home field advantage will work in their favor and they can tie things up on Tuesday.

If the Royals are going to tie the series, they will be putting their faith in a rookie to do. Yordano Ventura will get the star in the decisive game, currently holding a 3.38 ERA in the postseason. In his last start, he pitched five innings, giving up two earned runs. He gave up eight hits before the impressive trio of bullpen pitchers stepped in to hold on to the 7-2 win. Kelvin Herrera, Wade Davis and Greg Holland stumbled last game, but expect to bounce back along with the rookie.

Jake Peavy gets the start for the Giants. He is coming off a loss to the Royals after giving up four runs in five innings in that loss. Peavy might have plenty of postseason experience; he has yet to record a win. The Giants would love if this was his first time. The pitcher did not get the decision in Boston's Game 3 last year.

This World Series continues to be a close on. It is the first time in which four of the first give games were decided by five runs or more. It is very similar to a series the Giants played in back in 2002 where they won the last two matches to get the win. If a final Game 7 is forced the matchup would be Tim Hudson and Jeremy Guthrie. San Francisco could attempt to put Bumgarner back on the mound who is 4-0 with a 0.29 ERA, but he would be pitching on two days rest and be a risk.
