Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has hinted that he will bring back the chalk toss this season and he has allowed the fans to decide if he will do it and the first chance will be against the NY Knicks on Thursday, as that game is the season opener and is on the schedule on TNT as part of a doubleheader starting at 8 pm.
James said he would let the fans and his sons decide, but either way it would be a very cool things if he brought back the chalk. James did the chalk for a long time and disbanded it after leaving Cleveland and now that he is back, he may bring back the old school move and the fans would eat that up if he did it again. Even if James doesn't do it all season, there is a good chance he will do it for the opening game of the season.
James and the Cavaliers face off against the Knicks to open the season and then the team plays against the Chicago Bulls in their second game. The matchup marks the return home for James and this is the biggest game for the Cavaliers since he originally left for the Miami Heat.
