Marshawn Lynch Contract Rumors: Russell Wilson, Earl Thomas Push Seattle Seahawks Free Agency Deal, Pete Carroll Uncertain as Raiders, Falcons Options in 2015

Marshawn Lynch continues to show the Seattle Seahawks why he deserves a new contract with the team. The running back carried the team on his back in Week 10 by scoring four touchdowns which propelled the Seahawks to a win over the New York Giants. "Beast Mode" was in full effect in that game and now certain players are nervous to think what will happen if Seattle does not re-sign the back in the offseason.

Lynch is playing on an expiring contract and Seattle has yet to guarantee his return to the team. There has been numerous trade rumors surrounding his name after some off-the-field antics did not sit well with the organization. However, while doubt continues to rise, Lynch continues to show why he is one of the best around which puts the Seahawks in a difficult spot.

The running back market is weak for any player, but especially tough for a 29-year-old. Lynch is showing no signs of slowing down, but that might not stop Seattle from denying a long-term extension for the back which could push him to sign elsewhere.  Earl Thomas admits that Lynch is a big x-factor for the team and he does not want to think what could happen if he is not around.

"It's always going to be fresh and new,'' Earl Thomas said, via the Seattle Times. "You can't take stuff like that for granted. That guy is special. I don't care what people say about him, that guy is special. We're very fortunate to have him. I would love to play with Marshawn as long as he wants to play football. I never want him to leave, especially when I'm playing. It's hard to replace guys like that. They don't come around very often. Just seeing it from my lens and my eyes, him running like that, running like he's in Pop Warner, running over guys, fighting for every yard for his teammates, you can't do nothing but respect a guy like that.''

Richard Sherman and Russell Wilson both agreed. However, with other players including the quarterback needing new contracts in the offseason, will Lynch be a priority? Everyone continues to stress that they want Lynch around in the offseason, but will that be met in dollar signs for the upcoming free agent.
