The Kentucky Wildcats and Buffalo Bulls are playing live on the NCAA college basketball schedule on Sunday and the game for the Cawood Ledford Classic is from Rupp Arena and it starts up on ESPNU and the WatchESPN website at 12 pm ET as John Calipari and Andrew Harrison get things going for UK.
Harrison comes in after scoring 16 points in the first game of the season and the team is now 1-0 and they beat Grand Canyon by 40 points and that was no surprise. The next game for Kentucky is a big early matchup, as they have the number five Kansas Jayhawks and this comes as the Wildcats are ranked first in the nation. The team has Florida to worry about in the SEC and the Gators come in after going undefeated in conference play. Kentucky plays against Texas in the first half of the season along with Louisville and North Carolina and they finish the season with Florida.
Kentucky is the number one ranked team in the nation and the favorites for the national championship and they have as much talent as anyone in the nation. The Wildcats are in action with a number of other top teams on Sunday, including Syracuse and Wisconsin. Kentucky is the favorite in the SEC even after Florida went undefeated last year and the Wildcats are looked at as a team that can possibly run the table, as they have some freshman stars that decided to stay after a ton of one and dones.
