The fantasy football Week 12 schedule is here and some free agents and sleeper pickups to check out moving forward include Jonas Gray, Ryan Mathews, Trent Richardson, Tre Mason, Josh Gordon and Mike Evans, as those players have the chance to step up in the coming weeks due to injuries, matchups and team situations, especially Gordon, who is now returning from suspension for the Browns.
Gordon is coming back after a suspension and is one of the top players to start moving forward. The Browns want to get him involved right away and he could be a huge boost for the team. Last season Gordon led the league with 1646 yards receiving and now he could be one of the best players for the back stretch of the season. Gordon has the chance to be an impact player for teams making the playoffs in fantasy and he has blazing speed and the ability to make big plays for the Browns.
Jonas Gray comes in after scoring four TDs against the Colts on Sunday night and he is a strong pickup after Stevan Ridley went down. Gray is going to be the top back for the Pats on the ground and he could be a prime starter moving forward. Gray is taking advantage of his situation and fantasy owners should look at doing the same, as the Patriots want to continue rushing the ball on a consistent basis.
Mike Evans and Tre Mason have been strong as rookies and Evans has not been great over the past six weeks. Evans had two touchdowns on seven receptions last week for over 200 yards and now he has six scores in his past six games. Trent Richardson is coming in for Ahmad Bradshaw now that he broke his ankle and he could be a strong addition as well. Ryan Mathews is back from an injury and he could take over as the starter for the Chargers once again and he will push Branden Oliver down the depth chart.
CJ Anderson is worth picking up, as Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman are injured and he will be getting the bulk of the carries. The Broncos just dealt with a ton of injuries this week and that could give Anderson even more chances to get things going. Ball once again is dealing with an injury and that makes CJ Anderson a solid option. Anderson had over 100 total yards last week and he did that again with 115 yards on 17 touches this past weekend.
Mike Evans has been fantastic over the last stretch of games and he now has six TDs in his last six matchups and has emerged as one of the best rookies in the league. Evans had seven catches for 209 yards and two TDs against the Redskins, while Jonas Gray was simply amazing, scoring four TDs for the Pats in their win over the Colts. Gray had 39 carries for 199 yards and four scores and now he is a top pick up. Gray has emerged as the best option for the Pats with Stevan Ridley out and is a top pick up for fantasy owners.
