The fantasy football week 12 schedule is here and some start or sit options for this weekend include Jordan Matthews, Trent Richardson, Dan Herron, Jerick McKinnon, Kenny Stills, Giovani Bernard, Reggie Bush, Joique Bell, Calvin Johnson, Alfred Blue, Arian Foster, Jerick McKinnon, LeGarrette Blount and CJ Anderson, as those names have the chance to step up for fantasy owners or should sit with injuries.
Jordan Matthews has been hot lately and he should continue that this week after getting into the endzone on a consistent basis the past few weeks. Trent Richardson and Dan Herron have the chance to step up with Ahmad Bradshaw out for the season, while Jerick McKinnon is going to be the starter in Minnesota. Matt Asiata is banged up and with Ben Tate just coming in, McKinnon is worth a START. The Broncos have Anderson coming in as the starter with Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball injured and they are solid options to keep for now for owners, but Anderson is the START pick.
Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush are healthy and ready to go this week and they are START picks over Joique Bell and Theo Riddick. Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Julio Jones all missed practice at various times this week, but they are all START options and should be good to play on Sunday. Kenny Stills has been stepping up in recent weeks and with Brandin Cooks injured, he has the chance to get more looks and Drew Brees could look his way quite a bit on Monday night football.
Richardson has not had a great season, but he will get the chance to step up along with Herron after Bradshaw was injured. Richardson has been averaging 3.4 yards per carry this season and he has 391 yards overall and two TDs along with 22 catches for over 200 yards. Bradshaw was on the field for over 80 percent of the snaps on third down before being inured and now Richardson and Herron will have to get things going. Herron only has 22 rushes this season, but he will get more carries now that Bradshaw is done for the year.
Matthews is dealing with a knee injury, but he should be ready to go on Sunday and he comes in after having a great game last week. Matthews had seven catches for 138 yards and two TDs and now he has 44 catches on the season for 558 yards and six TDs. Matthews has been impressive along with Odell Beckham and Kelvin Benjamin as rookies and this could be the best rookie WR class in years.
Ben Tate and Jerick McKinnon are solid options and they should get a boost if Matt Asiata is out or limited. Tate comes over from the Browns and he has 333 yards on the season, while McKinnon will remain the starter. Both players should end up getting a nice amount of carries and moving forward McKinnon looks like he will remain the top guy in the rotation, at least for the next few weeks.
