The NY Giants don't have much to play for this season, but fans are sure happy about Odell Beckham Jr., as the rookie has been playing great and on Sunday he made what many call the best catch of 2014 and possibly ever, as he snatched a TD on an amazing one handed catch, sparking a ton of memes on the internet in the process. Beckham was injured to start the season after being drafted in the first round by the Giants and now he has shown why he was so coveted by teams. Beckham often does his one handed catch routine before games to help prepare for situations during the game and that clearly helped him on Sunday night. Eli Manning threw a deep pass down the sidelines to Beckham, who made the one handed catch after being held on the play by the Cowboys cornerback.
There would have been a penalty had he dropped the ball, but Beckham was able to reach back with one hand and he brought the ball in before falling into the endzone. The catch immediately went on fire across the internet, as ESPN.com reported that at least 50K Tweets per minutes were going about Beckham and the catch. The catch itself and pictures from it sparked a number of different pictures across the internet and now many are calling it the play of the year.
