The Dallas Cowboys have eight wins on the season and now matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday for Thanksgiving and quarterback Tony Romo looks ready to play, as he was able to participate in practice Monday and he is a strong fantasy football start option along with stars Jason Witten, Dez Bryant and DeMarco Murray for Week 13.
Romo has been dealing with a back injury, but he said he felt fine after the win against the Giants on Sunday night and that he would be ready for Thursday. According to ESPN.com, Romo participated in the workout on Monday for the Cowboys, who will have three days before the Thanksgiving matchup for the top of the NFC East. Romo has not practiced in three straight days with the team since back in September and he may get a break heading into the Week 13 matchup.
Romo has been playing very well this season and he has 22 TDs and 2519 yards and has led the team to two straight wins. The Cowboys have been at eight wins for the past few years and getting a win on Thursday would clinch a winning season. The team has three of the next five on the road, including matchups with the Eagles and Redskins. The team also plays the Colts and the Bears down the stretch and those will be big games as the team tries to make the playoffs.
Bryant and Witten have the chance to put up big numbers on Thursday and it comes after Bryant made some great plays on Sunday night. This season Bryant leads the team with 63 catches for 879 yards and he also has 10 touchdowns this season. Witten is second on the team with 43 catches and he has 461 yards and four TDs this season.
