The Miami Heat may get Dwyane Wade back against the New York Knicks on Sunday after the guard has missed the last seven games, as he was able to practice in full and looked "explosive" while working out with Norris Cole.
Wade's return comes as the Knicks have lost Carmelo Anthony for a bit with back spasms and he may not be able to play after sitting out the Mavericks game on Wednesday. According to Pro Basketball Talk, Wade looks like he will return after missing seven games with a hamstring issue against the Knicks on Sunday. The team has gone 3-4 over that stretch and they have not looked as good without Wade, averaging nearly 10 points less per game.
Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel wrote on Twitter that Wade looked good in practice while working with Shabazz Napier and Norris Cole and Wade himself said he "hopefully" will play on Sunday. Wade was averaging just under 20 points per game and now he will return to the lineup for the Heat. The team is 8-7 on the season and they come in after a loss against the Golden State Warriors and they next will play against the Washington Wizards.
