English Premier League Table: Chelsea Leads EPL Standings Over Man City, Southampton, Manchester United

The English Premier League table has Chelsea leading the EPL standings over Southampton, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle in the top five this year and the Blues have been the most impressive overall in the Barclays, as they have yet to lose a match in 12 games played on the 2014-15 schedule. 

Chelsea currently has 32 points on the season and they are 10-2-0 coming into the weekend and they have a six point lead over Southampton. The Blues will remain in first place no matter what happens this weekend and Southampton comes in at two points ahead of Manchester City. Man City won the title last season and Chelsea finished in third and now the Citizens are in ahead of Manchester United for the time being, while Newcastle is in fifth place.

Manchester United has 19 points no the season and they are tied on points with Newcastle, while West Ham is in sixth place at one point back. Swansea City is next in the standings with the same amount of points and they are in ahead of Arsenal. The Gunners have 17 points and they are there with Everton and Tottenham with the same amount of points this season. Stoke City is two points back of Tottenham, while Liverpool is in 12th place on the league standings.

Liverpool has 14 points on the season and they have been very inconsistent this year and they have just four wins in 12 games this season. The team is in ahead of West Brom, Sunderland and Crystal Palace, while Aston Villa is at number 16 on the table. Hull City is next and they are in ahead of Leicester City, Burnley and QPR in the standings. Chelsea has been leading all season and they are the top goal scoring team and now they also have the best goal differential.

Chelsea could remain undefeated through the New Year and while it's unlikely they will make it through the season, they have been as good as anyone in the EPL. Chelsea will be playing against Sunderland this weekend and that comes on Saturday, while Arsenal will be in action against West Brom. Southampton hosts Manchester City on Sunday, while Tottenham and Everton is the other matchup on that day. Saturday has Man United hosting Hull City at Old Trafford, while Liverpool hosts Stoke City at Anfield ahead of the late Chelsea matchup on NBC Sports Network.
