The fantasy football Week 13 schedule is here and some start or sit options for matchups include Brandon LaFell, Roddy White, Andre Ellington, Julius Thomas, Martavis Bryant, Mohamed Sanu, Arian Foster, CJ Anderson, Latavius Murray, Terrance West, Isaiah Crowell, Jarvis Landry, Alfred Blue, LeGarrette Blount, Jonas Gray, Dan Herron and Eric Decker, as some of those players are dealing with injuries and other have the chance to step up for owners.
The Falcons come into week 13 as the first place team in the NFC South with just four wins and now they have a tough matchup against the fellow division leading Arizona Cardinals. The team is hoping that Roddy White can go and head coach Mike Smith said that it was likely that White would play on Sunday. White is worth a START for fantasy owners as long as he is healthy and in the starting lineup. Even if White is limited in the game he has a high upside and while he is listed as questionable with an ankle injury, all indications so far is that White will play.
Julius Thomas comes into the week a bit banged up and while he could be limited, he is worth starting as long as he is active for the game. The Broncos like to use the tight end position, but if Thomas is out, Peyton Manning has plenty of other options to choose from. Mohamed Sanu has proven to be a consistent option even with AJ Green healthy and he could be a sleeper pick this week. The Browns have Isaiah Crowell and Terrance West at RB after letting go of Ben Tate and they are START options this week. Josh Gordon is back and that should help open up the rushing game with more consistent deep threat for Brian Hoyer.
The Broncos have been impressed a lot with how CJ Anderson has played and he should be a START option again with Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman banged up. The Patriots saw Jonas Gray rush for 200 yards and a week after that LeGarrette Blount came in and scored two TDs and was the leading rusher. For teams without better options, Blount and Gray are solid options to START, but this week Shane Vereen could be the one to pick. Vereen gets involved in the passing game and that could be used more against a quality team like the Packers.
White has 56 catches in 10 games this season for 662 yards and he would be a tough loss for the Falcons and fantasy owners if he is out. Andre Ellington and Martavis Bryant are worth starting this week as well and Ellington comes in dealing with a foot injury, but it has been there all season and has not been an issue. In keeper leagues, Ray Rice could be worth picking up, as another team likely will sign him at some point and he could be an option come 2015. The Ravens released Rice earlier this season and he appealed his indefinite suspension to the league.
