Dana Vollmer set an Olympic record with her 56.25 finish in the Women's 100m Butterfly on Saturday morning.
She will, of course, advance to the Semifinals, which are set to take place tomorrow before the competition's Finals.
Vollmer will be joined in the 100m Butterfly Semis by Ying Lu of China, Alicia Coutts of Australia, Sarah Sjostrom of Sweden, Jeanette Ottemen Gray of Denmark, Liuyang Jao of China, Claire Donahue of the USA, Francesca Halsall of Great Britain, Ellen Gandy also from GB, Inge Dekker from the Netherlands, Li Tao of Singapore, Italian Ilaria Bianchi, Aliaksandra Herasimenia of Belarus, Martina Granstron of Sweden, Japanese Yuka Kato and finally from Switzerland, Kristel Vourna.
In the Men's 400m Freestyle, Americans Peter Vanderkaay and Conor Dwyer both made it on to the Finals. This is what their qualifying list looked like.

The Women's 400m Individual medley was highlighted by Great Britain's Hannah Miley, who swam in the third heat of the event. She finished in 4:34.98. The crowd went crazy when she finished the race. American Elizabeth Beisel finished with the best time after posting a 4:31.68.

In the Women's 4x100m Relay, USA's Swimming team finished in 3:36.53 in Heat 1 but it was Team Australia who came in first place overall with a 3:36.54 race.
USA and Australia will be joined by the Netherlands, China, Japan, Denmark, Sweeden and Great Britain.
Both Sweden and Great Britain finished tied for 7th place with a 3:38.21 finish.
