The Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers are playing the Civil War live on Saturday night and the matchup at 8 pm ET on ABC from ESPN and the WatchESPN website is from Corvallis at Reser Stadium for the rivalry game and this is big for the college football playoff, as the Ducks are in the mix if they can end the season with wins against OSU and then against Arizona in the conference championship.
Oregon comes in after a big win against Colorado and now they will get the chance to get revenge from their lone loss this season. The team fell to Arizona earlier in the season and now they will play for the conference championship and winning would likely clinch a spot for Oregon in the playoff. The team is averaging over 40 points per game and they are favored in this rivalry matchup and since it's in Corvallis, anything can happen.
The team is ranked in the top 40 with 23 points allowed per game this season and they are averaging well over 500 yards per game this year. The Ducks are one of the best teams in the nation and they are now 10-1 this year and 7-1 in the conference, while the Beavers have won just two games in the Pac-12. Oregon State comes in after a loss against the Washington Huskies and they are 0-4 against their own conference division this year. The team is scoring just 26 points per game and that will not get it done against Oregon. The team needs one more win to be bowl eligible and that means a major upset must happen in the Civil War.
