The triangle offense is not working out like the New York Knicks had hoped. The team has been struggling on both ends of the ball, but scoring seems to be an issue as several players simply do not seem comfortable in the new style of play. As a result, the Knicks have lost 13 in the month of November. They are a far cry from the team that upset the Cleveland Cavaliers to start the season. As Carmelo Anthony admits he is frustrated are trades the only way to solve the issues.

After falling to the Miami Heat, Anthony told the media that he still is not panicked about the slow start for the Knicks. According to the veteran, every day is a chance to change the season. The issue is that the Knicks might not have the right pieces to make that happen.

"That comes down to us as individuals whether we panic or not," Anthony said, via ESPNNewYork.com. "Me being one of the leaders of this team, I'm not gonna panic, so none of my teammates are gonna panic. Every day is a new day. And tomorrow we got another opportunity to try to turn this thing around."

Anthony admits he is frustrated and the Knicks have a challenging mindset. The shooting guard continues to try and fend off the negative comments regarding the team's season as it appears to be the second straight year that New york is letting slip away.

"I am going through it [again], but I can't put that in my head right now," Anthony said. "Yeah, I am going through it. I don't like to lose. This is not a great feeling. But I am not going to put that in my head as far as losing and getting used to losing. That is not something I accustomed to, and I don't want to start that now."

So how does New York improve in the coming months to salvage the season? A trade could be the best scenario. Right now, players like Amar'e Stoudemire and Tim Hardaway Jr appear to have a better grasp on the triangle offense than players like Iman Shumpert and JR Smith. The Knicks have been linked to trades for both players for the better part of a year now and might finally pull the trigger if they can get something decent in return.

If not, Knicks fans should prepare for a long season and get excited about free agency. Marc Gasol, Greg Monroe and Rajon Rondo are all at the top of the wish list and will greatly improve the team for the coming years. Until then, Anthony will continue to be frustrated on the season.
