Jul 30, 2012 06:30 AM EDT

Victoria Azarenka will hit Centre Court in her second match at the Olympics. She comes into London as the top ranked female tennis player. She will face Irina-Camela Begu of Romania.

Azarenka, who is only 22-years-old has made a splash in the world of tennis in the past couple of years. She won the 2012 Australian Open, claiming her first Grand Slam title.

At the beginning of the month she made it all the way to the Semifinals before getting eliminated by the champion Serena Williams.

Azarenka, who represents Belarus, has Olympic experience under her belt. She was at Beijing in 2008 and made it up to the third round of competition. She was eliminated by the other Williams sister, Venus.

Her opponent, Begu is unranked and does not possess anywhere near the experience that Azarenka has. She is 21-years-old and won the 2011 Newcomer of the Year Award.

She has been playing tennis since the age of 3 and was taught how to play by her aunt. Begu was born in Bucharest, Romania. In February of this year, she reached the Semifinals at Acapulco.

Make sure to catch the action from London as Azarenka and Begu will hit Centre Court at around 7 a.m. ET/12 p.m. GMT.
