The Women's USA Basketball Team hammered away at Angola's national team as they won 90-38 in the second game of Group A preliminaries.
Coach Geno Auriemma noticed the disparity in the nation's abilities and forced his women to back off and stop fouling Angola's players.
By the second quarter, it was no longer a game as the U.S. team held a 20-point lead at the half. In the third quarter, Team USA began settling for threes. The flow of the game was not delightful.

By the end of the third quarter, the U.S. had a 34-point lead. Angola could not hold on to the ball in the final minutes of the period.
With 30 seconds left in the third. The U.S. had built an insurmountable 40-point lead.
They showed a young American in the stands as he was looking at the action. He was decked out with an Uncle Sam hate and a flag, but he was not really into the action. Another gentlemen was shown half excited to be in the game.
Team USA had four players with double-figures in points. Candace Parker finished with 14. Angel McCoughtry had 10. Maya Moore scored 11. Seimone Augustus dropped 13.
With the victory, Team USA stands at 2-0 with 4 points, tying them with Turkey and China for the best records in the Group A pool.
In their next matchup on Wednesday, the Women's USA Basketball team will face undefeated Turkey, meanwhile Angola will go head-to-head with Croatia.
