The fantasy football Week 14 schedule is ending and into Week 15 and the playoffs some fantasy pickups and sleeper options include Jonathan Stewart, Charles Johnson, Kerwynn Williams, Marion Grice, CJ Anderson, Rashad Jennings, Isaiah Crowell, Stedman Bailey, Jeremy Hill, Dan Herron, Sammy Watkins, Brandon LaFell, Doug Martin, Torrey Smith and Latavius Murray, as those players have the chance to step up down the stretch.
Stewart has his best day in quite some time on Sunday, rushing for over 150 yards against the Saints and giving the Panthers a huge boost on the road. Stewart has the chance to be a strong RB1 down the stretch, as the Panthers are still alive in the playoff race. Charles Johnson has continued to emerge as an option over Cordarrelle Patterson for the Vikings and he has been a favorite target for Teddy Bridgewater. With Jerick McKinnon on IR, Matt Asiata and Johnson are the best pickups for the team, especially if Adrian Peterson remains out of the lineup.
Andre Ellington has been placed on season ending IR as well and that makes Kerwynn Williams, Marion Grice and Stepfan Taylor solid pickups for the final weeks of the season. The Cardinals have Drew Stanton at QB so they will continue rushing the ball and with Ellington out, all three could see increased carries. Grice saw a boost last week, but it was Williams who had the impact in Week 14 and with a Thursday game coming this week, he could be worth starting. Williams finished with 100 yards on 19 carries against the Chiefs on Sunday.
The Denver Broncos have been getting some strong play from CJ Anderson this season and even though he had an ankle injury Sunday, he still put up some great numbers. Anderson has been playing for Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball while they deal with injury issues and he ended up in the endzone three times against the Buffalo Bills. Anderson dealt with an ankle injury and gave way to Juwan Thompson a bit, but he was not seriously injured and is a major option going forward.
The Panthers have struggled this season overall, but Stewart now has the chance to make up for that for fantasy owners, as he should be the lead back over the final three weeks. Stewart had his best game against the Saints this season, rushing for a 69-yard TD and adding 155 yards overall on the ground in the game. That was his highest total since back in 2009 and he averaged nearly eight yards per carry in the matchup on 20 carries. After rushing for 85 yards on 12 attempts the previous game, it looks like Stewart will be the lead back and is heating up at the right time.
The Giants have been getting some strong play this season from their rookies, including Odell Beckham and Andre Williams and they put together great performances on Sunday. Williams and Beckham each put up 100-yard performances in the game and moving forward they have the chance to be number one options for Eli Manning. Rashad Jennings has been banged up and that allowed Williams to go for 131 yards, while Beckham had 11 catches for 130 yards and a TD in the game.
