The fantasy football Week 15 schedule is here and some start or sit options for the playoffs include Julio Jones, Arian Foster, Percy Harvin, Andre Ellington, Drew Brees, Johnny Manziel, Odell Beckham, Alfred Morris, Stepfan Taylor, Marion Grice, Matt Asiata, Charles Johnson, Cordarrelle Patterson, Eli Manning, Rashad Jennings, Jordan Cameron, Cole Beasley, Donte Moncrief, Jonathan Stewart, Terrance West and Chris Johnson.
Foster has been one of the best running backs in the NFL this season and he should have another heavy workload coming up this week. Alfred Blue scored a touchdown last week, but Foster also found the endzone and with the Texans still hanging on in the playoff race, Foster should be front and center. Andre Ellington was placed on injured reserve and now the Arizona Cardinals will be using a lineup of Marion Grice, Stepfan Taylor and Kerwynn Williams moving forward.
Johnny Manziel is getting the start in Cleveland and for fantasy football owners in need of a boost at QB, he could be a high upside option. Manziel could end up having a dud game, but for fantasy owners that are not confident in their quarterbacks for the playoffs, Manziel could surprise. Josh Gordon is getting his legs back and consistency in the rushing game could help Manziel shine on Sunday.
Andre Williams and Odell Beckham have been playing well this season for the Giants and they have a strong matchup coming against the Washington Redskins. Williams and Beckham put up 100-plus yards as a rookie RB and WR duo for the Giants in the same game for the first time since 1980 and they have continued to gain trust in the offense from Eli Manning. Beckham had 11 catches, while Williams went for over 130 yards and scored a touchdown on a long run.
Julio Jones had the best game of his career against the Packers on Monday night with double digit receptions and over 200 yards receiving, but he came down with a hip injury. Pro Football Talk writes that Jones was very "sore" after the game and that he would be evaluated during the week. Jones said that he is hopeful to play and for fantasy football owners, if Jones is active on Sunday he is worth starting.
Keep an eye on the injury report, as he is listed as questionable for the moment and his status will be updated through the week. Arian Foster is another player to keep an eye on, as he had a strong game last week and had been dealing with a groin injury. Foster looked fine playing in Week 14 and moving forward owners should keep an eye on his status.
Drew Brees has been having an up and down season with the Saints and while he has nearly 4000 yards and 28 touchdowns, the team has not been getting overall results the field. The Saints play on Monday night football and that will give Brees a boost as a late option and he comes in after throwing for 532 yards and one TD against the Panthers. The game was a blowout and now the team faces a reeling Bears team and that could be a great matchup for Brees, as the pass defense has been bad for the Bears this season.
