The fantasy football playoffs are here in Week 15 and some start or sit options for owners include Julio Jones, Arian Foster, Eddie Lacy, Demaryius Thomas, Alfred Morris, CJ Anderson, Cam Newton, Derek Anderson, Ben Roethlisberger, LeGarrette Blount, Reggie Bush, Odell Beckham, Matt Asiata, Eli Manning, Greg Olsen, Julius Thomas and Chris Johnson, as some players are dealing with injuries and others have great matchups coming up.
Both Julio Jones and Eddie Lacy were banged up on Monday night football and now they could be limited heading into Week 15. Jones injured his hip and now fantasy owners everywhere are hoping that he can play, as his loss would be huge for any team. Jones had over 200 yards last week and this season he has 93 catches for 1428 yards and six touchdowns and the Falcons desperately need him on Sunday. Even if Jones plays, he likely will not be at 100 percent.
Arian Foster comes in after dealing with a groin injury, but this time it is not serious like it was a few weeks ago when he missed games. Foster is set to start on Sunday and should be active for fantasy owners, as he was able to practice on Thursday in a limited capacity. Alfred Blue is worth holding onto for fantasy owners in case Foster aggravates his injury, but he should be a full go on Sunday. Foster has had a great season with 1028 yards and eight TDs and he could have a big game against the Colts this weekend.
Eddie Lacy is dealing with a hip injury and if he plays on Sunday he could be limited for the Packers. Lacy could end up missing week 15 and that makes sense, as the Packers are fairly secure in making the playoffs and they will need Lacy healthy. Lacy has 843 yards this season with seven touchdowns in 13 games and he did not do much in practice on Thursday and that could mean he will be held out on Sunday.
CJ Anderson has played very well with Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman out and he is expected to be fine after dealing with an ankle injury. Anderson had three touchdowns last week despite getting injured and this season he has been very strong with 594 yards in 12 games and the bulk of that has come over the past few weeks. Peyton Manning and the Broncos plan on rushing the ball on a consistent basis and Anderson should be the RB1 once again.
Alfred Morris rushed for just six yards last week in the loss to the Rams and now the team hits the road to play the Giants. Morris should be much better this week, but it's risky with the way the Redskins are playing. Morris has 899 yards this season on 219 carries and while he is off the pace of his first couple seasons in the NFL, he still should get over 1000 yards again after doing it in his first two seasons. Morris has tied his total from last season with seven TDs. Demaryius Thomas dealt with an ankle injury but he is expected to be fine this week after having a bad game on Sunday.
