Olympics 2012 Tennis: Live Stream Watch Roger Federer Play in the Men's Doubles

Aug 01, 2012 11:18 AM EDT

Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka will be taking the court soon. Do not miss their match against the Israeli duo of Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram.

Federer and Wawrinka come into the London 2012 Olympics as the defending gold medalist in the Men's Doubles competition. The Swiss players won gold in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

When asked in earlier interviews about the pressures of winning his first gold medal in Men's Singles, Federer answered that there was no pressure since he already owned a gold.

Federer finds himself in the same predicament as one of tennis' greatest female players, Serena Williams. Williams has also captured gold in Doubles but has never won in the Singles tournament.

For now, Federer will eye on repeating as Doubles champion.

With a victory today, Federer and Wawrinka can enter the quarterfinals of the Doubles event. They would face Americans Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan or Russians NIkolay Davydenko and Mikhail Youzhny.

The action is supposed to come from Court 2, but Victoria Azarenka of Belarus and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez  of Spain are in a tight match of the Women's Singles in the second round of action.
