The Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies are the two best teams in the NBA this season and they are playing live on the schedule on Tuesday at 8 pm ET from ESPN and the WatchESPN website streaming online as names like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Marc Gasol and Mike Conley take the court at the FedEx Forum.
The Grizzlies come into the game after a win against the Sixers and they now are leading the southwest division and they are 19-4 on the year. The team has been very impressive and Marc Gasol is having the best season of his career and they now match up with the hottest team in basketball. The Warriors are 21-2 on the season and have won 16 games in a row and they will play against the Oklahoma City Thunder next.
The Warriors come in as the best team in the NBA and they are coming in after a win on the road against the New Orleans Pelicans in overtime. Curry has been having a very strong season and he scored 34 points to lead Golden State in the victory and now they are trying to keep the streak alive. The Warriors are ranked at second in the league in points per game and they are averaging 107 points per contest and the defense has been holding up.
The Warriors defense is ranked in the top 10 this season and they are in the top five in rebounds per game and assists per game. The Grizzlies have a top defense this season ranked in the top five and this is the culmination of a few good seasons and now Memphis could be a sleeper in the west. Zach Randolph and Gasol have been playing very well this season and Conley has emerged as one of the top young point guards in the league. Memphis is ranked in the top 10 in scoring as well and that should make this a very even matchup.
The Warriors haven't lost in weeks and they are looking to push the winning streak to 17.
