After getting its first win of the 2012 Summer Olympics on Sunday, the unified Great Britain men's soccer team will look to close out group play with a win over Uruguay on Wednesday.

The match will be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network in the U.S., and it will also be streamed through NBCOlympics.com.

After playing to a draw in their opening match against Senegal, the Brits enjoyed an explosion of offense in their win over the UAE, with Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs, Swansea City winger Scott Sinclair and Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge finding the back of the net. The British team kept possession for 59% of the match, up from 55% in the Senegal draw.

Uruguay, meanwhile, lost to Senegal on Sunday, and needs a win over Great Britain in order to secure a quarterfinal berth. If the match were to end in a draw, Britain would win Group A with five points, with Senegal and Uruguay tied for second with four points. In that scenario, Senegal would advance via its head-to-head win. If Urugay does win, Great Britain would be eliminated on goal differential, with Uruguay winning the group and Senegal tying Britain for second but advancing on goal differential.

The winner of Group A will play South Korea in the quarterfinals on Saturday, while the runner-up will have a quarterfinal date with Mexico.
