The New Orleans Pelicans and Houston Rockets are playing live on the NBA schedule on Thursday night and the matchup from the Toyota Center starts up at 8:30 pm ET as Dwight Howard, James Harden and Anthony Davis take the court and this is a matchup with one of the best teams in the league in the Rockets and now D-Howard looks completely healthy after dealing with some injury issues.
The Rockets have been one of the most impressive teams in the league this season and they are looking to have a good playoff run after losing in the first round last season to the Blazers. Howard comes in after being out for 11 games and the Rockets have been able to stay near the top of the division standings for that time, as they are 19-5, sitting behind the Grizzlies and ahead of the San Antonio Spurs.
James Harden comes in after putting up 41 points and 10 assists, while Dwight Howard had a double double with 16 rebounds and now the team plays the Pelicans before a matchup with the Atlanta Hawks, who have also played very well. The Rockets are ranked third in the league in defense after being in the bottom half last season and they are averaging 10 points per game this season. Howard has the team ranked in the top 10 in rebounding and they feel they have one of the best teams in the west.
